The Regeneron Great Limerick Run is the biggest mass participation sporting event outside Dublin.

It is about encouraging individuals to compete and achieve their personal goals.

The inclusiveness of the event with three separate races has captured the attention of people across all social and demographic backgrounds. From the young to senior citizens, competitive athletes to occasional runners or walkers our team will help you cross the finish line. The Regeneron Great Limerick Run is now the fastest growing participatory event in Ireland with over 14,000 race entrants registered in 2019. According to an economic and social impact report commissioned by Limerick City Council, 49% of respondents stated that the event was the main reason they started physical exercise.

Online Fundraising Campaign

Would you like to raise much needed funds for a charity close to your heart while completing this personal challenge? If so, it couldn’t be easier. As you complete your registration for the Regeneron Great Limerick Run you will be asked if you would like to create a fundraising page. If yes, you select the charity you would like to fundraise for. When your order is complete, you will have a fundraising page created for you automatically, that can be shared immediately on all your social platforms and your fundraising journey begins.

Fittest Company Challenge

The Fittest Company Challenge is a fun and friendly competition amongst businesses during the Regeneron Great Limerick Run.

If you have already signed up – then we’d like to thank you for taking on the challenge.

If not – then you still have plenty of time to do so and we would like to invite you and your company to join in.

Children’s Run for Fun

The Children’s Run for Fun at the Regeneron Great Limerick Run 2024 will take place on Saturday the 3rd May 2025.

This fun event is organised by Regeneron Great Limerick Run in conjunction with Limerick Sports Partnership and the HSE.

This year four waves (1 wheelchair and three others) will take place at the University of Limerick, details listed below. There is a limit of 1000 children for each wave.
